Wendy says " I thought I'd give you an update on our precious Cargo. He's learned to go to his bed and lye down (with a little bribery) and he sits everytime he is asked. He's also learned to ring the bell on the door to let us know when he needs to do his business. He even rings it when he is alone and wants some company. When the bell rings we come...... huh? I wonder who is training who? Whenever we are out he greets everyone he see's, he just loves the attention and soaks it up for as long as they let him. We get so many people asking "What is he?" followed by compliments on how cute he is. Cargo has become such a joy in our lives. There isn't a day that's gone by were he hasn't made us laugh or brought a smile to our faces. When I'm soaking in the bath he has to be there playing in the bubbles, it's hilarious! He try's to eat the bubbles and nearly climbs right in with me. Things get alittle wet but it's a blast! I must thank you again for giving us the opportunity to have Cargo become a part of our hearts. We love him dearly!

Meet Luna and Maggie. They are owned by the McConney family in California. This is what Beverly says about Luna " Where to start.............She is amazing!!!!!!! I have her sweet face kissed off! I have always had dogs and loved each of them but have never loved a dog the way I love Luna. The nice part is she loves me back. LOL, she is so much fun and really makes me laugh hard. She loves playing ball with me and chasing me around the yard. We go for two 20 minuet walks each day rain or shine. She has just completed her first week of training and has one more week to go. I honestly cannot believe how smart she is. Jocelyn (the trainer) has been training puppies for the last 22 years and told me she has ever only trained 2 other dogs that have been as smart as Luna. She was explaining to me that most dogs can't "generalize" for a long period of time and Luna "got it" the second day. She seemed very shocked and surprised at how quickly Luna learns. She asked me all about you and your kennel after she ask me where in the world I found a puppy like this. Luna now knows "want to go for a ride", "sit", "down" and "stay" with nothing more then a hand signal! She also knows "in" to go in her kennel "bed" to play in her bed in the kitchen while we eat our meal. I can drop food on the floor right beside her and she will not touch it once I have commanded her to stay. She will not come out of her bed with her toys until I release her with the word "Okay"
Beverley has many more stories about Luna and how great she is! This is only the start of it, lol! Beverly was so happy with Luna that she also purchased Maggie from me. This is what she has to say about Maggie " Miss Maggie Muggins!!! She is such a cuddly and loving dog and so very smart. When I signed her up for training classes the instructor decided to move her to level two as she already knew all the commands from level one. She is learning to play soccer right now….. Luna is her teacher!!! She plays hard with Luna and then flops down and falls asleep. She recently discovered how much fun the water can be and is splashing around in the lake like a pony but not quite brave enough yet to swim. I expect that will happen within a week as she is watching Luna and I can see she wants to go in. She is 45 pounds right now at five months and, based on the size of her paws, I expect will be a big girl. She is losing her puppy coat and starting to wave up really nicely and David and I expect she will look very much like Luna. She is a really social dog (show me a doodle that isn’t) and people want to cuddle her and play with her whenever they see her. A little girl and boy in our neighbourhood come to the door every few days to ask if they can play in the back yard with Maggie and Luna. Once again Sherry you have matched us with the perfect puppy. I’m so glad I found you because there are too many unethical breeders out there. Keep producing the best dogs in the world!!!"

This is Lola. She is owned by Amanda. Amanda says "We live in the community of Kitsilano in Vancouver, BC. In Kits it seems every other person has a dog to walk along the beach. When we got our doodle we could not walk for more then half a block without someone stopping to ask what kind of dog she is. People would even jump out of their cars or yell out of their open windows to inquire about our little fuzzy doodle. They would creat names for her ranging from Chewy, to one of the characters on the Muppets, to big fluffy teddy bear. We felt "Lola" suited her perfectly. The greatest thing about our doodle - and there are so many great things- is that we can walk down the street with her and she will literally grin widely at every passerby hoping to get a grin in return. She makes everyone smile. She is the most easy going, laid back, kind, sweet, goofy dog. She gives hugs by squishing between people's legs and will hold still for a thousand kisses on her nose. Our girl brings sunshine into our lives every single day. I would highly recommend a doodle like our Lola!"
If you have any questions about Lola please email Amanda at movingintostillness@gmail.com

Meet Muphy, he is a BERNADOODLE and is owned by the Wakeman family in Mississauga. Pat debated for a long time between a bernadoodle and a goldendoodle. She finally took a giant leap of faith and went with a bernadoodle. She couldn't be happier. Murphy is 8 months old in these pictures and wieghs just over 50lbs. He is very gentle and calm with everyone. Pat was telling me how she had some elderly visitors that where in their 80's and Murphy was great with them and just laid by their feet. He is truly amazing for an 8 months old pup. I took these pictures when Pat brought him back here to visit me and it was amazing to see how well behaved and calm he was. He is truly an amazing dog and a great mix between the the 2 breeds. Pat states " Murphy is the most sweet tempered loveable, calm and adaptable puppy. He loves everyone and everything including our 2 cats. He loves to kiss and cuddle. He has not shed and we've had no allergy issues with him. Murphy loves to go tubing at the cottage. He wears a life jacket and away he goes. He is truly a people dog! He's happy whenever he's around kids, other dogs and everyone! He was so easy to train and he was #1 in his puppy class. We truly adore him. Murphy is our great big fuzzy bear and we are so glad we decided to choose a Bernadoodle. He is truly awesome!"
If you would like to email Pat to find out more about Murphy her email address is pwakeman@sympatico.ca
Meet Coal he is owned by the Shaw family and is a mini labradoodle!
Kim Say's "Here is just a little update on Coal now that he is 10 months old……he is an adorable little man who is filled with mischief these days, as you know he passed his two classes of obedience training with flying colors, yet all of a sudden he has become a little terror…lol! Coal is highly intelligent and who is a bundle of joy on a daily basis. Coal should be called “David Blaine”as I’m sure he gave Coal information on how to open locked doors and locked baby gates. He can jump like I have never seen a dog jump before and he can hang off the kitchen tops like he is Superman with his front paws. At our local Bark Park were Coal goes from time to time to socialize with his friends, all the ladies think that Coal is a superstar, he is the only dog allowed to sit with them while they have there lunch, I think he should of been called “King Coal” He loves to swim in the river and if there where pearls to be had he would be a pearl diver as he can hold his head under water looking for fish or floating leaves. Coal also loves to cuddle and in the morning and at night he loves to sit in my lap like a little baby. Coal’s other name should be “Seabiscult” as he can run after apples down the lane like a champion horse racer.
Our family could never imagine our lives now without this little man, he is a true gem and we love him to bits!"
If you would like to email Kim to find out more about Coal her email address is nevon@rogers.com
Meet Abby. She is a mini goldendoodle and is owned by Chris and Clara. Chris says "Abby is doing very well. She has added a huge amount to our lives. It is amazing what a personality she has and how it has devloped over the months.
Abby has gotten us into a very good routine. At 6:30 a.m. (she does not care that the clocks went back), she wakes me up and I take her out for her morning walk and business. Some mornings it is pretty difficult getting out of bed but one look at that pretty face as well as being greeted by such joy at seeing me quickly dispels the tiredness. When we come back, I get out Abby's breakfast. It is comical to see her reactions each day as I pretend to be eating her food before I put it down for her (I have to maintain my status as pack leader so I eat first). She cocks her head from side to side as if to say "If you want it, you can have it because it is not that great!" After a minute or so, she will bark at me to remind me that she is hungry and that I should not eat all the food. A minute or so later, I put her bowl down and sit down beside it. This translates into much jumping and happiness as well as a few wet licks on my face. She willthen compose herself in my lap and requires that I take a handful of food out of the bowl so that she can eat it from my hand.
After the first handful, Abby will go and find her ball. Breakfast then becomes a game. She brings me the ball and drops it in my lap. She wil lthen eat what is in my hand and as she is done, she expects me to throw th ball so she can chase it and then bring it back for another handful of food. This routine is repeated for lunch and diner.
Abby is a very smart little girl as well as being extremely curious and very persistent (at times even too persistent). She was housetrained within hours of arriving at our home. The only accidents that she's had is when we were not paying attention. In the first two weeks, she learned the word sit and the hand motion that we use to mean sit. From there, Abby learned to shake a paw with either paw as well as down and wait for her treat (as long as it is not too long or somehting does nto distract her). Her newest is High Five where she puts her paw up to meet mine. we are now working on 'sitting up' for her treat. I have to tell you though that walking beside us is still almost non-existent. She is so exuberant about going places and loves to meet new people.
We have now reached Abby's 5 month birthday. It is amazing how much she has grown. Neither Clara or I could imagine our home without Abby. She is definitely a retriever as she loves to have us throw her toys and she will bring them back. We can tell her to get her ball and she goes running to her toy basket to find it.
I am also amazed how sound oriented Abby is. You can see that she knows exactly what makes certain sounds. From the sound of her dog food bag opening to the car door closing to the tap in our bathroom running (that means that someone is coming down to let her out) to (seriously) the sound each of her toys makes, she is truly quite amazing. She really does know the different squeaks of each of her toys and comes running for her favourites. We have also noticed that she has started to put her toys away in her toy box before she gets out another one (well, at least sometimes).
She is truly a joy in our lives and I hope that you can tell that we adore her and that she is very well cared for. The kitchen floor has become our usual place to sit when we are home." If you'd like to contact Chris his email address is chris_warden@cogeco.ca
One of her behaviours that is so much fun to watch is how Abby learns things. She has taken to carrying her favourite rubber bone around in her mouth. She will then come across her ball and want to take that to her mat. She will drop the bone and pick up the ball but then, she will also want to take the bone as well so she will drop the ball and pick up the bone but then she realizes that she cannot take the ball so she drops the bone and picks up the ball and so on . . . She has now figured out that if she has the bone in her mouth, she can push the ball with her paws or the bone and steer it where she wants to go. She has actually started to get quite good at soccer. The funniest thing for a long time was that she could only make the ball go forward. When it would hit a wall, she would make it go sideways but once she got into a corner, she was stuck. She would then bark for assistance and one of us would have to come and move the ball out into the open again. You should have seen the the day that Abby figured out that if she put her paw on top of the ball, she could pull it back out of the corner and go on playing. She started barking and barking for us to come closer and then, she proudly demonstrated her new talent over and over again to cheers and applause from both of us (as well as a few treats).
Abby at 4 month.
Abby at 7 month. She is about 20lbs!
Meet Ruby! She is an f1 mini goldendoodle. Her parents are Eddie and Molly. She is owned by Cathy River! Cathy says "Ruby is wonderful and growing well. She is doing very well in her puppy classes, I would have to say she is one of the best if not the best student. She is very smart and a real quick learner. You did a fabulous job of matching her up with us. I can't get over it. She is perfect for our family. I love the way she loves to cuddle and always wants to be near us. She is very affectionate. I guess you can tell I adore her, well I am not the only one the whole family does. The only problem I have is I think she may be a little too attached to me at times because she will cry for me when I leave the room and go up stairs . She is such a doll!"
If you would like to email Cathy to find out more about Ruby her email address is cathyriver@hotmail.com
This is Uli at 11 weeks old. She is from the Ginger and Rex's litter of December '06. She is a standard goldendoodle owned by Carrie Williams. Carrie says "Uli is everything we were hoping for. We were initially nervous about the placement process, but after educating ourselves with a few books understood that it is truly the most responsible way to handle the process- both on behalf of the pup and the owners! Sherry was able to place us with the exact puppy we were looking for!
Uli is neither shy nor aggressive, but very fearless! LOL It's true that they do learn very quickly, and also grow extremely fast. Everyone that meets her is surprised that she doesn't shed when pet. Also, I am not allergic to her at all.
She's been extremely friendly and confident when meeting everyone including people, dogs and cats and doesn't seem to be phased by anything. We sincerely couldn't be happier!
Carrie & Dave, Hamtramck, MI "

He is now 47 lbs. and is so handsome and he knows it. He has become my daughter’s best friend, they are amazing together. My son could not be happier with Knuckles and we all love him dearly. This is Zizou (Zee-zoo). She is owned by the Mondesir family! Robert says "She is a nine month old Bernadoodle. What a beautiful breed. We have no allergy issues. She is a very lovely, kind, playful pup. We started to put some of the knowledge and training we gained, from lots of reading, and a previous dog we fostered for the Canine Vision Program, from the day we brought her home. Zizou is quick study. A few simple rules and consistency was the key to our success with her. As she gets older there are a few more rules and always consistency. At nine months of age she just over 66 lbs and is tall enough to look onto our dining table.
I have to thank Sherry for picking Zizou for us based on our application. A perfect fit. I contacted Sherry and a few of the references on her website and then we were off to the races. I also have to say that Pat Wakeman was the greatest influence on my decision to share our lives with a Bernadoodle. She was very informative about her experiences with Murphy her Bernadoodle." If you would like to find out more about Zizou you can email Rob at robm1@rogers.com
This is Stuart. He is owned by the Dubchak. Shannan says "Congratulations on being named on the Premium Breeders List! That is exactly where you should be given the amazing animals that you breed. Thank you for your care and dedication in producing what I consider the perfect pet.
Stuart has been the best thing to happen in our family. He has given us so much joy and love. Stuart is everything you said he would be, he is smart and funny and he loves everyone in our family with the same intensity. He is so happy to see each of us every morning. Sometimes when he is sitting there looking at you, you almost expect him to start talking. I simple cannot say enough to describe how wonderful he is!
I don't think that I have ever had him out for a walk (these walks are Stu's favorite time of the day) that someone hasn't stopped me to admire him and ask questions about the breed. It is impossible not to smile when you look at Stuart!
Stuart is now 8 1/2 months old and weighs 77 pounds. He has been through obedience class, which he truly enjoyed. Stuart was neutered this week and very quickly was back to his vivacious self. He is one very healthy and happy Doodle.
Thank you so much Sherry for choosing this pup for us. We love him like crazy.
If you would like to email Shannan to find out more about Stuart her email address is sdubchak@voyageur.ca
ULI AT 6 MONTHS
ULI AT 11 WEEKS
Hi, my name is Charlie - my Mom (Amy) & my Dad (Ryan) are so in love with me! They tell me all of the time what a good baby girl I am & how proud they are of me. I am only 4mths old & I can sit on command, retrieve my stuffed Toad & ball & of course find my bone when asked to. I know what 'down', 'no barking' & 'no biting' means, but I'm a lot like my Dad when it comes to being told what to do.....I don't like it very much! And therefore, I don't always do these things the first time that I am told. But, I'm working on it! Dad say's that I'm a lot like my Mom when it comes to being the boss - we often struggle to see who will prevail, but in the end it's always Mom even when I try my hardest to win (wink wink). My parents take me on big walks in the trails behind our house & I love it - I run & smell everything I can! And, I don't even half to be on my leash when we're out there because I don't like Mom & Dad to get too far away from me so I stay close by them. I've also discovered water - boy oh boy do I ever love the water - and soon I'm going to get out on the Waverunner with my lifejacket! I'm growing up so fast I'm 4mths & weigh 18lbs already! In the picture you see here I'm doing one of my favourite things.........playing in the laundry! But, aren't I cute? Mom & Dad said that I'm the best thing that's happened to them & that they love me more than they ever imagined! In fact, they're not sure what they'd do without me:)!

Boomer is a puppy from Rex and Ginger. He lives in San Diego, California. He gets to go to the park and the beach pretty often where he is practically a celebrity. It’s amazing how many people know Boomer by name and they may have only seen him once or twice. Sometimes we can even spot the paparazzi! It is always hard for people to believe that he is only 10 months old and weighs 96 lbs! We were expecting him to be big, but he has definitely exceeded our expectations.
Boomer is quite the character. We have so much fun with him – he is so trusting that he lets us dress him in sunglasses and hats, roll him on his back while we get burrs and mats out of his paws, and he just goes along with it! Boomer likes to give and get affection, loves to hold hands and cuddle. In spite of this he is an excellent watchdog always on the alert for what is going on outside his home.
Boomer has exceeded all of our expectations and we could not be happier with him. This is all possible because Sherry does a great job of breeding such outstanding dogs and matching her puppies to the right homes. If you are considering this “breed” you cannot do any better than this website. Thank you Sherry for providing us with such a great dog!"

Sherry, our family can't thank you enough for bringing our wonderful dog Oscar into our lives. From the start, your help and advice has been invaluable in terms of selecting the right puppy for us, teaching us about puppy care and training, and providing telephone and email support, especially in the first days and weeks when we were adjusting to life with our new dog. I would highly recommend you as a breeder and your Goldendoodle pups.
Oscar is a walking advertisement for how great Goldendoodles are as family pets. He is a beautiful dog with striking colouring and an expressive face. He has a sweet, goofy, loving, intelligent temperament and has been able to charm absolutely everyone that he has come in contact with. He loves people as well as other dogs. We cannot go anywhere without being stopped continually by people who want to know more about him or even to take his picture! Cars have stopped on the street when we have been outside our home or on a walk to ask us about him! As you know, friends of ours were so taken by Oscar that they now own one of your puppies too!!!
Our precious Oscar has enriched our family's life in more ways than we could have ever guessed. He does something to make us laugh everyday. It has been wonderful to watch our children see their lifelong dream of having a dog come true, and to see them enjoy Oscar so much, especially when he greets them in the morning, accompanies them on walks, plays fetch (Oscar's favourite activity) or cuddles by their feet while they are doing homework, reading a book or watching t.v. Our weekends often include hikes in our local ravines or in the countryside, and Oscar is always an enthusiastic participant during our adventures! He can hardly wait to jump into the back of our SUV when we take him for a drive! We like to visit an "off leash" park near our home, and Oscar adores the chance to run (and dig!) but is always quick to come to us when we call him.
Oscar, at almost 9 months, is 82 lbs.!! He's really maturing into a great dog! He has captured all of our hearts and we absolutely adore him.
It is my pleasure to provide a reference for both you Sherry, and your wonderful breeding programme at Swissridge Kennels.

We Love Lucy! Our son picked her name and it suits her perfectly. Lucy is our mini F1b. She has been the best thing to happen to our family. We have 2 children under age 5 and she is wonderful with them. She gives us so much love every hour of every day. She can't get enough hugs and cuddles. Lucy is very smart - top of her puppy class, and she is not at all yappy. She was house trained in the first month that we had her. As close to perfect as you can get. She just wants to hang out with us - she is most happy when we are all in the same room, where she can see her family and just be with us. We go to the cottage all the time and I think it's her favourite place. People stop us on the street and in the park and ask what she is. When we tell that she is a Mini Goldendoole - we get funny looks as she is not at all golden. That's what we loved about her look when we first saw her - excellent markings. She is a gorgeous dog inside and out. She has become part of our family like she has always been here. Thanks for everything Sherry - we love her so much.

Meet Odie. He is a tiny goldendoodle owned by Jeremy Mazzenga. He is from Charlie and Star's litter. Jeremy says "I'm just writing you to fill you in on my pup, Odie. He is doing AMAZING! I never knew I could love and enjoy a puppy so much. We are thrilled with each other and can't spend enough time together. When I take him for walk EVERYONE stops to ask me questions about him and swoon over how cute he is. He likes to stand up on his two legs and give me kisses and lay in my lap while I sit and read or watch TV. What a great dog I got from you. Enclosed are some photos of Odie. He just got fixed and is doing swell. He isn't even 20 lbs yet. Thanks so much for such a remarkable doggie!!! Best, Jeremy
