SwissRidge Kennels is now pleased to offer Training classes personalized for your needs! We have found many trainers don't have a clue when it comes to dogs. It's very sad but true! At SwissRidge kennels we want to unsure that dogs aren't given up for behavioral issues. No problem is to big or to small for us. If you are having any problems with your dog no matter if it came from my kennel or not we would love to help you!
TRAINING CLASSES
At Swiss Ridge kennels we offer many different training options to fit your specific dogs needs as we know that every dog will need special attention to become a well-behaved member of your family and the community.

INBOARD TRAINING for dogs 16 weeks and older
Our most popular training program is our three week inboard training program in which your dog will learn all of its basic obedience commands like sit, down, stay, heel and come. During the three weeks we are able to set aside some time to focus on specific problems such as canine aggression and leash aggression at no extra charge. While in training, the family members are not permitted to visit as this will upset the dog and throw off the training program, however, you are encouraged to call and check up on your dog’s progress. At the conclusion of your dogs three weeks, you have a one-hour session with the trainer to ensure that you and your dog are able to complete all the commands to our training standard. We also have two follow-up sessions included, which must be used within six months of the send home date.
It is vital your puppy goes homes with you at 8 weeks and bonds with you for the next 8 weeks. Our inboard training starts at 16 weeks of age. We can train any dog 16 weeks or older for inboard training.
This course is $1200 and includes board for 3 weeks.
PRIVATE SESSIONS
We offer private one on one sessions with the trainer. Please contact me for more details and prices.
Phone Consultations
We also offer help over the phone for people that live a distance or just need some advice about a certain problem. Phone Consultation are $50/hour.
Policy
Before any dog is trained by us everyone must fill out the training form (click on the button below ).
Your dog much be fully vaccinated and treated for kennel cough 14 days prior to visiting us but no later then 3 month.
Your dog must also be on a flea and worm preventions program. All documents must be faxed to us before your dog visits out facility.
